Description

The Summer school: " Discrete harmonic analysis and analytic number theory" will be held between 11-15 May 2026 at the main lecture hall of the Rényi Institute (Budapest) as part of the thematic semester New Directions in Modern Harmonic Analysis and Applications January-June 2026) hosted by the Erdős Center. 

 

Registration: 

Registration will be open soon. Graduate students (Msc and PhD), postdocs, and early career researchers are encouraged to apply.

  • Lillian Pierce: Spheres and squares, sums and differences
  • Joni Teräväinen: Gowers norms and their applications
  • Trevor Wooley: TBA 

 

Important information:

The workshop will take place at the Rényi Institute, Budapest, Reáltanoda utca 13-15. All talks will be held in the main lecture hall. Blackboard talks and slides are both possible.
