School: Optimal Transport on Quantum Structures

Description

The aim of this School is to give an overview of the state of the art in non-commutative optimal transport.

The program of the School covers the following subtopics:

1) Classical Optimal Transport. Lectures by Alessio Figalli (ETH Zurich, Switzerland) 
2) Quantum Optimal Transport: dynamics. Lectures by Eric A. Carlen (Rutgers University, USA)
3) Quantum Optimal Transport: quantum couplings and many-body problems. Lectures by Francois Golse (CMLS Ecole Polytechnique, France).
4) Quantum Optimal Transport: quantum channels and qubits. Lectures by Dario Trevisan (University of Pisa, Italy).

Presumably, each of the four lecture series would consist of three lectures (3x ~90 min.) scheduled on three different days.
