Focused Workshop on Dimension drop for Analytic Iterated Function systems

07/06/2026 - 07/09/2026
Rényi Institute, Erdős Center

Description

The dimension drop conjecture is a significant open problem in fractal geometry that concerns the Hausdorff dimension of the attractor of a conformal iterated function system on the real line. The objective of the Focused Workshop is to bring together experts from dynamical systems, harmonic analysis, and geometric measure theory in order to facilitate progress on this conjecture by gaining a deeper understanding of the connections between these areas.
