Focused Workshop on Beurling Number Systems

The workshop is aimed at studying recent advances and open questions of the Beurling theory of arithmetical semigroups. The mostly informal discussion of the topic covers mean value theorems, moment estimates and
density results for zeros of Beurling zeta functions, and the connections of the zeros of the zeta function on the one hand and the oscillation in the error of the generalized prime number formula, the integer counting function and the Möbius function on the other hand.
