Postdoctoral Fellowship
4 postdoctoral fellowships in mathematics and network science associated to the "Large Networks and their Limits" Semester are open for application at the Erdős Center of the Alfréd Rényi Institute of Mathematics in Budapest, Hungary.
The positions are starting in January 2022, and they are for one year. Topics include large networks, graph convergence, network science, stochastic processes on graphs and statistical physics methods in discrete mathematics.
The project is financed by the European Union, through the ERC Synergy Grant "Dynamics and Structure of Networks" led by László Lovász (Rényi Institute), Albert-László Barabási (CEU) and Jaroslav Nešetřil (Charles University).

Due to the interdisciplinary nature of the project, we welcome candidates open to collaborating outside their strict expertise.
This is a no teaching position, in particular, candidates are not required to speak Hungarian. The salary is up to negotiation but is competitive with European postdoctoral salaries. Shortlisted candidates are invited to visit the group in Budapest.
